Personal stories of strife and conflict - Human rights

Human rightsHere we look at human rights and how they can be affected or ignore. Human rights are rights inherent to all human beings regardless or race or colour, whatever our nationality, place of residence, sex, national or ethnic origin, are basic human rights are our rights FULL STOP.

We represent how people are blind to the fact that human trafficking is taking place near them. If people witness something, we want them to take positive action. To look out for signs. To call Crimestoppers anonymously. Or tell their local police. We have supported operations tackling human trafficking including Pentameter 2 which targeted sexual exploitation.

We aim to champion efficient partnerships to stop human trafficking, safeguard the victims through a victim-centred human rights approach and prosecute offenders.
